It is so sad that we still have people dying of cancer and I can honestly say cancer stinks.

However, I'm concerned with how we view death and how we view suffering in this world. Unfortunately, death was more than likely not an escape from pain for her. :(

Let me go you one better...and say, "cancer sucks!" This last year I have had six young mothers die of cancer. One of them hung on long enough to marry her high school sweetheart, which meant this husband would take over raising her four daughters after she passed. Her prayers were reduced to asking God to allow her enough time to marry him. Well, God is awesome, and after weeks of planning, they were married on a Saturday afternoon, and I got news she passed away Sunday morning with her new husband and four daughters at her bedside.

I should say this, the girls dearly loved their step dad, and YES, all of them loved Jesus! God made sure Mindi saw that her kids he'd a dad before she went home to her heavenly dad.

I don't think I would choose her manner of death, but I didn't live in her body to fully understand what impact cancer had on her! We all handle life and death differently.

Glad she was able to die on her terms, rather than enduring pain and suffering her final days/moments.

And as the world celebrates her "courage", that is the one thought reverberating in my head.

What is hard to understand in this God inspired(God breathed) scripture??Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are. 1 Coranthians 3:16-17
Beware! lest we allow satan to use us as his tool, fool, puppet. BELIEVE God's Word!!!

Jesus destroyed the temple that was himself, as promised to the Pharisees, and then raised it again in three days.

    Sacrifice? Or suicide?
    It's perspective.

Do you believe God wanted this young woman to suffer seizures and other pains and debilitating events until her brain finally rotted to the point she was vegetative and finally succumbed because the body processes sustained by the brain were shut down because the brain was completely consumed by the unrelenting cancer?

OK, after reading several of your posts, I have to step in here, GISMYS. I pretty much ignore your posts. And here's why: too many exclamation points, as if you are yelling constantly. Horrible grammar. And the use of "===" all the time. I tried just overlooking all this, but I've had a rough day and so I'm in a bad enough mood to finally say how annoying your posts are. Sorry if I've hurt your feelings, but hopefully you can take some constructive criticism.

I am assuming that this post was directed at me. No, I don't use the ignore function. I'm against the use of it. But that's a different thread.

But, this post does answer for me whether you can take constructive criticism. You can't, evidently. If you want to be taken seriously, especially if you begin debating positions, you need to work on your grammar.

Here's a quick hint: multiple punctuation marks are deemed childish, and often insulting. Example; !!! or ??. The use of double question marks in your post I quoted tells us you are saying that sentence in a flippant, challenging way. Whether you meant that or not, it's the tone you used.

So far, every single one of your posts has read like an out of breath speed talker. I feel as if I'm reading the micro machine man.

Well, I tried to help, and was compared to the pharisees. And over grammar. For the record, the pharisees didn't have a problem with Jesus' style. It was only His message. I, on the other hand was only trying to help you to not sound ignorant.

By the way, not sure what you meant by that last word. It makes no sense if used by its dictionary definition, and if used grammatically as you used it, it's an insult. I can only read it the way you used it, and so can only infer that you meant it as an insult.

While we're on the subject of comparing you to Jesus, Jesus spoke properly. He didn't use babblings that no one understood. He sometimes spoke cryptically, but not nonsensically.

So, I guess your post is a fail/fail/insult. Grammar goes a long way.

Edited to add: you said I could have my opinion. Well, it's not opinion. It's fact. Truth. Laid out plain to help you. But you refused it.

LOL!! Why all the personal attacks? Is it because as Jesus says to believers,"in this world expect to be attacked and hated but remember they hated me first" and so we see that toay.
