Remember this TV show from the mid Eighties?

though they were innocent of the crime they were framed for:

Should they have turned themselves in?

Did their assistance for the unfortunate come under the heading of the end justifies the means?

Is the theme of the show a Christian attribute we want to teach our youth?

    YES - I KNOW its a TV show - but .....

The show was ridiculous on so many levels. I do remember one episode where John Stamos was an anti-booze preacher and shot up a bar. No punishment for that, either.

The show was full of explosions, flipping cars, automatic gunfire, yet nobody is ever killed. But a crack team of Vietnam assassins ?

I pitied the fool who stayed home to watch this drivel. Myself included.
And yes, the show had several anti-chritian themes. Remember how they used to dope up Mr T's character to unconsciousness to get him on a plane ?

But to be honest, the subversive nature of their escape & fugitive status is the least bothersome thing I can think of.

Yet somehow it was still better than the movie.

One of my favorite shows as a kid. Would love to get the box set if I ever had the time to watch it. Didn't like the last season though when they changed things up after being captured.

The characters each have their flaws but redemptive qualities as well. If I ever have a son I would not have a problem letting him watch it (when he was a teenager).
