I don't normally watch sports...but when I do it's baseball. 90% of the 1% of my time spent watching baseball is like not watching anything....so I guess I can stick with "I don't watch sports."

Hubby watches sports. I don't. If the horseback riding discipline of dressage was on TV, I would more than likely watch it but that's about it.

I enjoyed watching that during the Olympics; dumb hillbilly me, I guess it was the first time I'd ever seen it done.

I used to love to watch major league baseball, but no more. There's far too much wasted time in between pitches, causing games to go 3 hours or more. Batters step out of the batter's box, adjust batting gloves, adjust protective cup, adjust helmet. Pitchers walk around the back side of the mound rubbing down the baseball, toe the rubber, stare in at the catcher, etc. It's become unwatchable, IMO. Thankfully, they are considering rules to address this problem.

I used to like to watch NFL football, but that desire is dying because of the ridiculous number of penalties that are called. Also instant replay reviews and commercials, commercials, commercials, commercials and more commercials. I've taken to doing some chores for an hour or so while recording the game, then sitting down, starting the game and watching it, skipping the commercials. After three hours my DVR has just about caught up to the live action and the game is over. I haven't seen a commercial, an injury time out, officials conferring over penalty calls, or waited for halftime to end.

Marry a Canadian and you get to watch all sorts of things like curling and hockey. We get a few Canadian stations so I can watch curling on Saturdays.

MMA (UFC) is about all I watch right now. Speaking of which, there were a couple of good fights last night.

Similar here with UK basketball, I like to watch it on the tube (with no volume) while listening to the radio broadcast; you don't miss anything that way... :)

I just never understood how someone could devote 3+ hours to watching people play a sport. I guess that's where the beer comes in?

Never did understand why Americans call it football. The foot is rarely used to move the ball. It should be called handball or American rugby.

"Soccer" (also do not understand that one) is the true Football.

None. I really don't understand the fascination with football especially. About the only thing more boring to me is watching golf. Bleh.
