    Options :

    a)To whom were you addressing?

    Or:

    b)Who were you addressing?

    I'd say option B is better.

    As I suggested in a prior thread, tah (or ta) could be used. It refers to he, she or it.

    That's what the winky icon was there for.
    My wife chides me for my dry humor.

    If I wrote "Whom was this addressed two?" or "Two whom..." it would have been two obvious.
