And the GOP hopes to attract women and minority voters. Really?

It's this sort of disparity that really speaks to why the GOP is not viewed favorably by a lot of Blacks and a lot of other minorities.

Everything they do seems to be about keeping "power" for the good ole boys.

Does it matter what race they are -

So what is more important - the race or if they are an Evangelical Christian?

As nearly 100% of them are white men, prima facie evidence says it OBVIOUSLY matters on some level.

Definitely whether or not they are followers of Christ. The Senate can't seem to elect very many black people so those numbers aren't a surprise. The House doesn't elect very many black Repubs either so again the numbers are understandable.

But then you're taken back to why can't the GOP seem to get many qualified Blacks to run for Congress?

NO - the question is why can't ANY party get many QUALIFIED individuals to run for public office.

MLK is outdated. MLK talked about character not race but as the Democrats are stating here in this thread, it is race only that is looked at.

The concern shown by Crabbie, zaacie, and rachel MAD of MSNBC for the Republican Parth warms the "cockles of my heart"; whatever they are.

I love people. I'm not particularly fond of any party or people who treat other people like dog doo just because they disagree on something as silly as politics.

So that your heart cockles stay warm, let it be known that Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are on my need to be reformed list too.

It's all about race and gender and sodomy in the Democrat Party. Why, Hill even talks ebonics and so does crazy Uncle Joe.
