How Do You Read Baptist Board?

    1. I start on the home page and scan for threads in the Last Post column for posts I might want to read/post and click on that thread. When I'm done I click the back button and continue with this method.

    2. I start on the home page and dive into the first forum, "General Baptist Discussion". Then I hover my cursor over individual thread titles reading the first sentence of the post to see if interested and then click on individual threads that interest me. Once I've covered that category I go back to the home page and continue on with the next forum "Baptist Theology and Bible Study". And so on...

    3. I start with the forum that most interests me, read/post in threads there then go to the next most interesting forum for me and repeat the process.

    4. I have one or two categories I post in and ignore all the other categories. I only read/post in these forums.

    5. I enter each forum individually, i.e. General Baptist Discussions, look for posts from my favorite posters, then click on those threads.

    6. Before I leave BB for the final time of the day, I click on each forum, then click on forum tools, then click on "Mark Forum Read". I repeat this for each forum category. Then, when I access BB for the first time the next day I click on "New Posts".

    7. I go to the home page, click on search, click on advanced search, enter the User Name of the person I'm stalking, er, interested in reading, then select "Find Posts From Yesterday", and click Search.

    8. I start on the home page, scroll all the way down to see Who's Online, then decide if it's worth my time to read the board.

    9. I click on Quick Links, then Today's Posts.

    10. Other method, please describe.

    Wow...sounds complicated.

I click "New Posts" and then read/post.

I generally open the site and check the Last Post column to see if any of the forums I've been in have anything new. Then I kick through through the forums I'm most often writing in before checking out the ones I rarely visit.

The thread title suggests another RD2 poll.

    Usually on my iPad.

    Quickly.

I check the major forums for new posts or updated ones where I've posted.

    Then I leave.

    Works for me too.

Without my glasses the whole screen would be one big fuzzy, colorful blob.

This is exactly how I do it too. On a larger board I frequent, I first go to my subscribed threads but then I go to New Posts too.

    1. I click on new posts and do that first.

    2. I look at the home page and then look at the forums I moderate.

    3. I look at the forums that haven't been posted in a while and see if I can stir things up.

Now. Now! Was that necessary? I may do polls more than some like, but that doesn't mean I turn everything into a poll. BTW - does your response mean you look for RD2's moniker and start reading there??? :wavey:

No. I do not think it necessary to post anything at all on the internet.

Not in this case. ITL started the thread. You had not even commented before my post.
