...“It’s not just about disrespect for the president, it’s disrespect for the American people and our system of government for a foreign leader to insert himself into a issue that our policy makers are grappling with,” said Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.). “It’s not simply about President Obama being a black man disrespected by a foreign leader. It’s deeper than that.”

OH it is about far more than that. It is about the survival if Israel. Netenyahu is not trying to insert himself into American politics. He is trying to defend his country. Appealing to Congress is appropriate since that is where the laws originate.

Ignoring that fact is just odd. As far as the title of the article let me translate:

"Do not reveal any truth that will put Obama in a bad light."

    Their arrogance knows no bounds.

This POTUS deserves no respect. He has lied so much, and so blatantly that any respect due him for the office he holds is long gone. He should step down for letting "We the people" down by not doing what he took an oath to do, and that is PROTECT this country. The porous borders and his EO to protect millions of illegals from deportation is an act of treason, IMHO! :tear:

I will second that motion! Perhaps he will have an epiphany and resign!

Respect has to be earned. This warning by the CBC means nothing, Bibi is still going to address Congress and probably give another great speech that actually has substance, unlike the ones read off a teleprompter by "their president". Reverend Jackson should just tell that hymie to get on.

Perhaps the republicans will honor their oath to protect the country and hold Obama accountable for his crimes.

I tried to keep a straight face when I typed that but couldn't do it.

I knew when y'all were clamoring to see that George Bush got his "unitary presdency" you weren't going to like a "unitary democrat president". But y'all wouldn't listen.

Ya got what asked for so enjoy.

Obama dislikes Netanyahu and makes no bones about it as Obama works behind the scenes in Israel to defeat Netanyahu in the upcoming Israeli elections.

But Boehner does not like Obama's policy on Iran and does not think that the USA should allow Iran to obtain the nuclear bomb.

So Boehner asked Netanyahu to speak to the House on nuclear terrorism in the Middle East, which such an invitation is within his purview as Speaker.

Now the Democrats are opposed to Boehner's exercising his privilege. Both the President and Vice-President as well as the House Minority leader have said that they will not attend and now the CBC says that they will not attend.

So a report on terrorism has become a political issue, thanks to the Democrats.

They didn't seem to mind the numerous times Obama disrespected Israel and Netanyahu.
