The US State Department publishes an annual report on human trafficking worldwide and assigns a tier level as an evaluation of the country's record on this issue. Needless to say, Cuba is always rated at the lowest level, called Tier 3. This poor evaluation is based upon the fact that Cuban doctors and medical workers sent abroad have their passports confiscated so that they cannot flee and thus are in a situation of forced labor. They are given a low wage but the Cuban government charges a high price and keeps the difference in Havana.

Of course, prostitution includes children in Cuba.

The 2014 report is even more detailed and blunt about Cuba's human trafficking:

As the old saying goes, it is difficult to make predictions, especially about the future.

Cuba has a lot of friends who want the taxpayers to pay for goods shipped to Cuba. First there are the farmers who wand foodstuffs shipped with taxpayers paying the bill. They are backed up by the Cato Institute (Libertarians?) as well as the Council on Foreign Relations and the US Chamber of Commerce.

Meanwhile nothing changes in Cuba. Since mid-December, the Castros have arrested another 600 political prisoners in their apartheid state.

The way it's going it won't be long and the U.S government will be acting the same way. It already has given itself the "authority" to do so with the p.a.t.r.i.o.t Act(s) and the NDAA.

And looking across the pond at the UK it seems they have a fair share of "high ranking" pedophiles and those who cover for them.

Power turns people into "sickos". The Castros aren't the only ones suffering from the "power sickness".

It is a beautiful theory, Poncho, but Fidel and Raul were sick long before they got power. These are rich kids who hated blacks and loved murder. Now they own all of the tourist facilities in Cuba and make the island attractive to tourists who like child prostitutes or a vacation of prostitution of any sort. They probably tape and blackmail high-ranking tourists--at any rate, many in Hollywood love Fidel, Raul, and Che not to mention Adolph and Joseph and Benito.
