    "....Michael Gerson — a Washington Post columnist who was chief speechwriter for President George W. Bush — said the letter's "true scandal" is the seemingly rushed way it was handled.

    "It was signed by some members rushing off the Senate floor to catch airplanes," Gerson wrote. There was "no consultation with Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), who has studiously followed the nuclear talks (and who refused to sign)."...."

    The timing of catching the senators in a rush to leave has been shady and suspect to me since I read about it. I think many or most were innocent 'dupes' thinking to cooperate with their party without considering the worldwide ramifications of it.

    Anyway, it looks to me now the other nations will probably just go on without us if need be.

    I agree with your analyses. I wonder how many, if any, have taken Cotton aside and given him a tongue lashing?

    Maybe this will make them pause and consider in the future before they sign anything. Good advice for all senators and representatives.

    If Obama fails in Iran at least he will keep his perfect foreign policy record! :thumbs:

    All failures!!

    CTB is giddy in his hope to have the blame for yet another Obama foreign policy failure placed on someone else for a change. :laugh:

    I am having trouble understanding whether CTB is obsessed with Republicans or the owner, or is it former owner, of the Huffington Post. Ms Huffington is an attractive woman though a turncoat with a funny accent!

    So what is your obsession CTB? Certainly not truth!
