Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.

24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

The Apostle Paul is stating in his letter to the Roman brethren that ALL Israel shall be saved... Who is the ALL Israel he is talking about?

    (1) All ethnic descendants of Abraham of every age; or,

    (2) All ethnic descendants of Abraham living in the future when Christ returns; or,

    (3) The mass or majority of ethnic descendants of Abraham living in the future when Christ returns; or,

    (4) Both elect Jews and elect Gentiles who together comprise the Church Of Jesus Christ, the true "Israel of God"; or

    (5) All the elect Israelites within the ethnic community of Israel (Romans 9:6)

I embrace the forth point as I believe the scriptures declare... What is your position and why did you come to that conclusion?... Brother Glen

Well the Deliverer, Jesus Christ, came almost 2000 years ago. I have believed that all Israel is all the elect, both Jew and gentile!

The israel that is composed of the physical descendants of Abraham, they are not the Children of God or Promise, so they are excluded from Salvation Rom 9:8

8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

They are not the Seed Rom 4:14

16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

This needs a little explaining. Paul is saying that physical descent by itself doesn't make you the children of God. There are those of physical descent who are also children of the promise (i.e. Isaac, Jacob, David, etc.). To just say that those of Israel who are of physical descent are not the children of God is very misleading.

promise + physical descent = spiritual heritage
physical descent ≠ equal spiritual heritage
    promise = spiritual heritage
