Another RINO Bites the Dust

    Typical establishment politician that failed to uphold the duties of his office and do his job, which is to govern by the Constitution. Power flows from we the people to them, not the opposite direction. Adios and don't let the door hit you on the way out. Hope the court system throws the keys under the prison. The Constitution was not meant to enrich politicians.

    I agree and i am glad he at least had sufficient integrity to resign. The dimocrats would have circled the wagons!

    Looks like another crook that saw politics as a means of personal enrichment.

    It's no surprise he's from Illinois.

    Chicago style politics seems to permeate the state.

    On the positive side, at least he had the honor of resigning - unlike many Democrats.

    Good point, of course the most famous of all Republican resignations is former President Richard Nixon. I do not consider him a RINO, although he did abuse his power. An example of Republicans who should have resigned by did not is Krispy Kream Christie and Senator Larry Craig.

    An excellent example of a Democrat that should have resigned was former Governor Rod Blagojevich.
