Was not born in the United States. Freshmen senator has only held elective office for 2 years. Has not released his college transcripts.

Interesting guy. Not afraid to speak his mind.

He should make it interesting, but the odds are stacked against him in the Republican party leadership. They're a lot ideologically closer to being democrats than he is.

Smart guy with some outlier opinions that frankly are not in the mainstream of the electorate. Don't see him having a real chance. If by some turn of events he becomes the nominee, it will be a walk to the presidency for the Democratic Party.

He doesn't qualify to hold the office of POTUS. He is not a natural born citizen of this country.

Not that the law matters as far as politicians are concerned anymore.

Explain please. As far as I have been able to tell, he does qualify as a natural born citizen under the law.

I don't remember Matt, did you say that Obama was a natural born citizen?

Cruz's father was born in Cuba. His mother in the US. He, Curz, was born in Canada. He held a dual citizenship, US and Canadian. I do not know what Cuba says about his status, maybe they consider him a Cuban national.
