Ocoee River Rafting

    Has anyone taken the Middle Ocoee River trip? If so, what am I getting in to?

    This time of year - COLD water. :)

    We did a short trip maybe four hrs many years ago, mid summer, don't know which trip it was though. It was fun.

    We are taking about 20 peeps in mid July. Several including myself have never done it. Frankly, the thought of doing it scares me :laugh:

    Nah, they're very well organized, good staff knows their stuff, it'll be fun; your 'peeps' will probably be going into the water on purpose before it's over with. July should be great.

    I did this trip about 20 years ago and it is a blast. I agree that you need to plan on going under water. They are very safe with loads of rescue people on hand.
