Miss a vote in Congress - dont get paid?

    A person has a right to abstain. If the leadership says that your vote is not needed, what difference does it make? The next president of the planet often voted "present" in a fly-over country state legislature.

    Yes, he does - but he should be there.

    His job is to vote /abstain on issues. He needs to make his stand know, so that his constituents know where he stands on the issues.

    My problem with Rubio is that he was at a political fundraiser.

    If one of those two Cubans gets nominated the tears of the GOP establishment are going to be very bitter. As for McCain's attack on Cruz for advocating that soldiers can be armed on bases, McCain should pick on someone his own size, that is, McCain should pick on someone smaller.

    He didn't miss the cloture vote and that decided the issue.

    He knew the RINOs would put her in office.
