In Sept. 2005 the wife of the owner of the haunted house I mentioned on the Bible and the Supernatural thread brought her 13 yr old daughter with her to my office from their home over 200 miles downstate. I took about five days of counseling with her mother present and it went very well for the little girl who gave her heart to Jesus and now, ten years later she is a student in a Baptist Christian college preparing for the mission field. Now, that girl loves me so much she calls me 'grandpa'. Well, things like that warm my heart and help me through all the terrible criticism that we get for what we do.

But just after Christmas that same year her folks called me late one night and told me that something terrible was going on in their house. They sounded desperate and I could hear the crashing of drinking glasses and plates and even the sound of heavy boots in the background. They claimed that there was no one visible throwing things throughout the first floor and the children became terrified. I prayed with them virtually all night but finally had to give it up at about 5 AM to get some sleep after telling the owner what to do. Preaching the gospel of Christ, counseling, visiting the sick, and helping students in class was my normal schedule in those days but this was something that required a great deal of time, prayer, travel, and exhausting effort.

I visited the home a few weeks later and as I pulled into the driveway of the three story, conservative yankee home I saw that the mother and all her children were in the maxi-van right next to the house. Things were so terrifying to them they were afraid to stay inside until I got there. So I spoke with the owners wife and then quickly noticed after looking through the dirty basement window that there was a circle of lights on the floor. She followed me through the back door and guided me down to the basement where we saw a pentegram painted on to the floor with lighted candles at every point. I quickly put out the candles and kicked them off the pentegram circle that had been created there. She told me, "That wasn't there when I was here in the basement earlier and no one has been here." That was the beginning of a huge battle that lasted for 1 1/2 to two years and we were soon to discover that more than one of the families that had lived in that house since the 1880's had been involved in the occult and black magic.

I quickly saw that this couple was telling me the truth for I observed things thrown through the air, drinking glasses from the kitchen cupboard materialized right in front of us on numerous occasions and quickly smashed to the floor. The kitchen drawers and cupboards were ripped open all at the same time well over a dozen times with all the contents inside dumped on the floor. There was backwards writing in all of the mirrors in the house and sometimes on the T.V. screen in the living room. On two occasions the owners wife and daughter saw the devils in action writing things that threatened them if they did not get out of the house soon. Whole candleabra's lit up by themselves, doors were slammed shut with nothing visible to handle them and there was screaming like banshees heard from the basement. Sleep was difficult, keeping our minds together was a great challenge, and exhaustion from the intense battle that lasted sometimes for weeks at a time was very taxing to all of us.

During that time there were 15 different people all of whom observed some or most of the preternatural activity going on in the home. I wish to stress here that I am not a charismatic nor do I use things like 'holy water' or a crucifix to drive out devils: the Bible and prayer was sufficient to complete the job.

The reason it took so long is because some of the members of the families that lived there in decades past had practiced black magic and used tarot cards, Ouija boards, and even had a sacrificial altar. That all had to be located in the walls, between panels, and we even had to dig out the bricks of the fireplace in the basement where we found the bones of a dead animal buried in the dirt behind it. All of that had to be found and destroyed according to Acts 19:19.

In the meantime, back home in my office I was gathering terrific evidence of the supernatural and fully intended to post what I had on the Internet websites where it would be appropriate. I wanted people who had similar problems to know that they were not crazy or insane but there were others who had similar problems and that they were getting help from those who could help. But three times in one year my computer hard drive was fried for no apparent reason & almost all of my photos and recordings were destroyed. The reason I know the devils did this is because the last time it happened my computer literally blew up. It exploded like one of those old black cat firecrackers that I used to play with as a kid and the smoke billowed out of it. Their hatred for me was never more evident than on that day.

I never charge for my services. I've never asked for a thin dime.

The house now sits quietly and free of any hauntings and a small family rents the place from the same owners I mentioned. The owners were so moved by the help they got that they put the house up for sale and moved to our town and joined our church and they themselves have become wonderful helpers to me.

The victory was in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and He gets all the honor and glory for delivering that poor family and their precious but frightened children.

I'll take questions from a few people before I check out of B.B.

Thank you in the name of the Lord.:flower:

Why did the bones of the dead animal need to be exhumed? And the altar located and destroyed? According to Acts 19 the people that destroyed their magical paraphernalia were believers. These people were believers but not practicing the black arts. They weren't even the owners of the house.

BTW, how did you locate the stuff behind the walls?

(Calypsis4, I am not discounting what you say out of hand, but I am skeptical. I do believe that demon possession and oppression occurs. I wonder about some of the physical manifestations.)

Because the Lord wanted us to see convincing physical evidence that what we were doing was legitimate and help erase any doubts in our minds that we were being led in the right direction.

I found the altar behind a brick wall at the other end of the basement and had to dig nearly two feet into the dirt after removing a cinder block to find it. But it was right where we were led. Every time the Holy Spirit gave us definite leading we found physical results.

We've seen physical manifestations many times both at that haunted house and other places. We've even been able to catch a few of them in the act at times.

Weren't you earlier talking about leaving the BB? Why would you bother to ignore someone if you're leaving the board anyway?

And just what are you going to say when you stand before the Judgment seat of Christ only to find out you were very, very wrong?

    Bye. :wavey:

Brother, I believe your account. Almost anyone who has lived on a mission field would believe it. Alas, many American believers are ignorant of demon activity.

Satan doesn't have to do much in Japan--he already has that country. But a missionary brother had to deal with a demon possessed boy (who I saw) who eventually showed the exact symptoms of the demoniac of Gadera.

I have seen a few things similar to what he has mentioned. The thing is when you start claiming "materializing" objects then it just goes to far.

Thanks, friend. When one encounters the demonic face-to-face it sobers the mind as to the reality of what our Bibles tell us.

But this board is filled with ignorant fraidy-cat Baptists who can't handle that reality even when it is told with the truthfulness of the Holy Spirit.

    Best wishes.

I cannot say that I have seen odd things, though I have sensed evil (best way to say it) in particular places. I think that I am with you in agreement on the point of objects appearing.

"In the can?" Sounds like a two-holer.
