"If a girl is recognized by her family, school and community as a girl and lives culturally as a girl, Girl Scouts is an organization that can serve her in a setting that is both emotionally and physically safe. Inclusion of transgender girls is handled at a council level on a case by case basis, with the welfare and best interests of all members as a top priority."

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time to boycott GSA cookies forever.

I haven't bought GS cookies in years and won't in the future. Aldi actually has some pretty good knock offs and they are way cheaper. :)

The children are pawns in this but a boy is a boy is a boy and does not belong in the Girl Scouts and it now looks as if no girl should be in the Girl Scouts either.

IMHO, a young person is much better off becoming a member of a Christian youth organization such as AWANA.

There are other good organizations that aren't strictly under the umbrella of local churches, but maintain rather strict, Biblically-centered guidelines.

Trail Life USA is one such organization for young men, and American Heritage Girls is one for young ladies.

It is probably not the best idea to have a secular organization teach values to our children.

True. God ordained the family to do this, but this is not to say that the organizations I citied cannot be of some help.

I agree. I like AWANA (really liked RA's when we had that).
