UN-married preachers??

    Salty started a thread about preachers may be "forced" by law to marry a gay couple.

    This led me to thinking (a dangerous thing at best) about whether a preacher/elder/pastor/minister, etc., is required to be married.

    Naturally, there probably are some inherent "challenges" for an-unmarried (i.e., NEVER married) preacher, most of which y'all can figger out.

    OTOH, I see no outright NT command for a preacher to have A wife.

    Do you?

    Yes. He must be married to one wife. Scripture is very clear on this one....see "the husband of one wife".......(kidding)
