I can't take credit for this. Wish I could. A friend of mine suffering from the loss of his father and wife in the space of a couple of months penned this.

    Enjoy.

It is so true. Majority consensus doesn't make it true. It just makes living in that world a bit tougher when you are not part of the majority.

Interesting! I remember many eons ago one of my retorts to my kids (among many) was "Just because everyone else does it ---" AND "Just because it's legal -----" doesn't make it right.
My favorite example was that laws could be passed that made murder legal, but that did not make it right.
Don't recall that I've ever made the connection between Roe/Wade and that statement till this thread, but a perfect example!!
The inmates are most assuredly running (ruining?) the asylum!!

The really shameful thing is the number of people here who are willing to enable it by refusing to take a principled stand against it, even suggesting that those who do should be fined or imprisoned.

That is right. Let such perversion stand because the SC said so. Disgusting.

Some evade the issue declaring it is "The Law of the Land"! That is incorrect as is the Roe v Wade decision that has resulted in the slaughter of 56,000,000 unborn and just born children.

Under the Constitution the Supreme Court is not to make law but to interpret law in light of the Constitution. The Constitution says the exact same thing about marriage as it does about the "right to slaughter your baby", absolutely nothing.

The Constitution does say: Article [X] (Amendment 10 - Reserved Powers)
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

But then, who in the Federal Government let the Constitution stand in the way!
