Seems there folk in the GOP who will do anything to keep the good ole white boy vote ... while driving away all the growing minorities.

So what do you think about Memphis wanting to dig up the bones of CSA General Nathan Bedford Forrest?

    From the Link:
So it seems that, some time along the way, Forrest pulled away from the KKK and reformed his beliefs about African Americans. The men and women Forrest spoke before forgave him — so why can’t Wharton, more than 100 years later? Aren’t there more pressing and relevant societal issues to tackle than waging a war on our past? -

    More about Gen Forrest

Leave the dead in peace in their grave.

What do you think of the amendment proposed by the Republican fellow, Calvert? I find it a bit ironic in that every Calvert I have know was or is an African American. They probably all are descendants from slaves owned by the Calvert family in Maryland.

I don't believe Forrest would care, but I might be wrong. :)

"Good ole white boy" as opposed to a coward with a guilt complex.

It's interesting that both R's and D's are joining the battle against the Confederate Flag.

    I don't believe it's a racial thing at all.

Today the flag represents rebellion - something both liberal and conservative politicians are frightened about.

Can you see a future when the people of the United States rise up again to rebel against corrupt politicians who have enslaved the workers of the nation?

Hillary used confederate flag symbols in her 2008 campaign. No one has heard her take any questions on that. Bill used the symbol in 1992. Jimmy Carter posed with a flag in an old photo. Afterall, the Confederacy was solid Democrat.

When are the Democrats going to apologize for being the party of slavery, KKK, Jim Crow, abortion and same-sex marriage?

Still waiting for Hillary to apologize for using the Confederate Flag in her campaign of 2008....

Were the Democrats trying to keep the Democrat vote?
