I am ambivalent regarding him. On the one hand he excites me by his blunt talk. He is indeed a man of action. He is a super-patriot. He sincerely cares about the degeneration of America. He cuts through all the bramble and gets to the quick of the matter. He is very intelligent and determined.

I could add many more of his good qualities.

But, on the other side of the ledger:

He is his own worst enemy. He is petty. Nothing, even minor things, escape his notice and venom. He is easily distracted and needlessly abrasive. His temperment is not stable. He needs trusted people to suggest that he needs to be less strident. He prides himself of having no advisers. He is no beholden to anyone. But he needs wise people to counsel him.

He is brash. Normally that term is reserved for the young. But he'll be 70 soon. Yet he reminds me of Nebuchadnezzar before he was humbled. I don't think the Donald can be really effective until he is humbled.

I sincerely want Donald Trump to be a better man. I like many things about him. Many of his ideas and views are attractive to me. We'll see if he can last or be a victim of his own weaknesses.

Trump has flip-flopped on abortion and is weak on biblical marriage. At best he is a pragmatist on social issues. If you are looking for a President who would champion these two issues from a biblical perspective, Trump is not your man.

Trump is saying what most GOP members want to say, but do not have the nerve to say it.

    As rippon demonstrated.

He's leading the field and folks are thinking "oh, so THIS is how the Republican Party REALLY feels".

All politicians pop off and Trump has done that a lot. McCain called Trump's supporters the "crazies" and now McCain is crying because Trump insulted him back, but McCain is difficult to insult. Nevertheless, I think that Trump should say that all who wear the uniform of the USA are heroes (excluding the criminals, of course). As a rich man, Trump well knows that one can be taken prisoner through no fault of his own. Trump has a temper.

I say let the Republican voters decide who is going to be the sacrificial lamb against the big Hillary Pantsuit machine and the inevitable Hillary presidency.

    Sure, OR!

McCain was then asked if he regretted calling Trump’s supporters “crazies.” He said, “Listen, you know my state is a very dynamic and divisive state. And we’ve got lots of arguments and lots of debates going on. I have hundreds of town hall meetings all over Arizona and I’m called crazy by the people that come there. I thought it was a term of endearment.” And “I love the debate. And I love my people and so I meant it in a way that — in a term of affection, to be honest with you.”

I am praying that the people of Arizona retire McCain.

McCain proved Trump and Trump went over the top. McCain is jealous because everyone is tired of him and no one goes to see him anymore.

There's a recent poll out there that has Trump with 28% - that's very significant and if true, he is the front-runner right now.

McCain is GOP-e, that tard John Ellis Bush is probably his pick. They're all allying with the MSM to take him down and I hope it doesn't work. Trump IS good:

He must have a first-rate team of advisers and consultants. There is still a high chance of Trump having a Howie Dean moment, better put a tight leash on that one.

Trump has given around a millon dollars to democrats in the past and he states he has never asked God for forgiveness.

Trump is a not a good candidate.

Ted Cruz would be the best president for this country.

Trump is a Democrat. Take a look at what he believes and who he supports.

My own thought is that he is a plant of the DNC playing the part of spoiler.

    Maybe, maybe not!
At this point I am grateful that he is vocalizing that which most (so far anyway) Rs are too chicken to mention as forcefully and unapologetically as T. does.
Hopefully, a couple of the best will sense this and forge ahead, ignoring the MSM and their sophomoric attempts at "reporting" or interviewers juvenile questions about their view of queer marriage, or ---!
IMHO, if Walker or Cruz would campaign with the bluntness and honesty that typifies Trump now, either would win by a landslide! (Excluding some election hanky-pinky by the left!)

Actually some have said that they would close the border. At the recent Iowa confab where eight candidates participated one {I believe it was Huckabee} said he would build a wall across the southern border. Perry said he would use primarily surveillance and manpower! They just don't use the inflammatory, stupid rhetoric Trump does. Like some others I believe Trump is simply a narcissistic spoiler. He always has a pouty look on his face.

I strongly disagree with McCains views on immigration and some of his rhetoric. However, neither of the issues you posted makes him a traitor!

I frankly believe all those who indicate their preference for Trump as president based of his stupid remarks are lacking either in knowledge or intelligence, or both!
