I just had lunch with Reformed. I thoroughly enjoyed our time together. He is a very godly man and loves the Lord. In the past I have spent time with Salty (we have been friends for years) and I have spoken to Padre on the phone a couple times. I have spent some time with Palatka (he hasn't been around here much lately).

Anyone else get to know others on the board?

I've wanted to see Dr. Bob preach, if he still does. He's a mere 619 miles away. I believe that makes him my closest neighbor.

That's cool, though. Thanx for sharing.

I've often thought it would be cool to meet many of the posters here on BB. Glad to hear you two had a good time together.

Rev, I feel the same about you and enjoyed our time of fellowship this afternoon. I left knowing that we are brothers in Christ and laboring for the sake of the Gospel.

Years ago I was on a biz trip in Atlanta and had dinner with DianeT and her family. Great time of sharing.

I imagine if we spent some quality time in person, and not with a rabbit, things would be much more civil here.

Gib, I like your signature. Made me chuckle.

My Golden would show the burglar where the Silverware is stored.

I would be glad to have anybody from BB stop by and visit if they are ever in my neck of the woods.

We'll save a spot for you and have some fun sharing stories.

Back in December, 2008, I had the privilege of sharing a meal with our dear sister MediaCenterDirector (a/k/a Sis. Griffin) & her husband in Winston-Salem NC.

I was on my way back from a telecommunications company's vendor school outside Raleigh NC, & since I-40 goes right by W-S, I e-mailed Sis. MCD to see if she & Bro. MCD would be available for a short meal-time visit.

She said that they were & we fellowshipped for an hour or so.

MCD no longer visits BB as much as she did in the past because she's now a grandmother & also she now teaches at a different school with different procedures than at the school she'd taught.

Now, if some of BB's Volunteer State's members could find time in their schedules, we could come up with some ways to straighten out all you non-Volunteer State BB members.

We'd do this over a mess of Southern Fried Chicken, & some biscuits smothered in gravy & topped off with a heaping slice of chess pie!

Just the thought of that heap-good-eatin' has made me hungry!! I think I'll just take a break & feed my face with some of the above-mentioned repasts--with a bowl of grits to top it off!

Wifey and I have never been to New Zealand. Frankly, it looks like you live in a beautiful part of the world.

Thank you Rolf, it IS beautiful. There are many beautiful places to see in the USA too, I would love to see the evocatively named Martha's Vineyard, walk along part of the Applachians, see Tenessee , the Painted Desert, the Grand Canyon, country towns and the Great Lakes, a squirrel , a skunk and a ranch.

You might want to check with our evangelist6589 here on BB about these two critters.

He might have some left over.
