Just a tempest in a pot of tea. Democrats don't believe in war and they have gutted the military and given us a hollow army the size of the army before World War II. Actually, Democrats don't know how to wage war. They just call names.

The video in the last post I made also said that if any Dem candidates take part in any debates not sanctioned by the DNC then they will be excluded of all sanctioned debates. UnAmerican.

Why is that unamerican? If someone wants to run under the banner of a party, doesn't that party have the right to certain expectations of that candidate?

What expectations? Engaging in debate. This is nothing but strong arm tactics which of nothing to do with reasonable expectations but is only designed to protect Hillary.

Expectations that the candidate submit to the party's requirements and rules in exchange for its support.

When support comes at the loss of freedom to debate in order to protect another candidate from having to answer questions it is unAmerican. The rules and requirements have to make sense and be reasonable. They need to show just cause for them and they need to be careful of trying to limit freedoms. This is all about protecting Hillary.

If I were O'Malley or Sanders I sense an opening here. The two of them (and whoever else they can get) should have an "unsanctioned" debate. Then when it's time for the official DNC debate, if the DNC follow their own rules, Hillary will be alone on stage and there will be no debate. It would be an awesome way to generate publicity and force the DNC to beg them to participate in the official debates.

I get what you are saying but I believe that would simply give Hillary exactly what she wants. She does not like having to answer questions. She knows she is to corrupt and does not have the intelligence to actually deal with the issues. Her little teenage stunt before congress will only take her so far. The less she has to converse with people the better off she is. Sanders is a communist but he would run circles around her.

I hear ya. But, imagine the embarrassment to the DNC if Fox News were to set up an unsanctioned debate between Sanders and O'Malley. I assume Sanders could make hay out of the idea that Hillary only wants to debate at a forum she controls, or that she is afraid to debate.

It would be political suicide and neither Sanders nor O'Malley would do it. If it means keeping the White House and preventing a Republican President from possibly getting to fill 4 SCOTUS seats, they will roll over and take one for the team.

In turn, they'll get "rewarded" for their "sacrifice".

Freedom? Are they not free to run as Independents if they choose not to heed their party's wishes?

I see little problem with the DNC wanting their candidates to fall in line in exchange for their candidacy running under its banner.
