    Actually I believe that Perry was one of the more capable candidates. That one debate performance in 2008 where he forgot the name of one Cabinet position he would eliminate cooked his chances. Odd how democrats can forget any shortcomings in their candidates. Of course their candidates need no forgiveness either because they choose perfect candidates or forgiveness is irrelevant to an atheist!
