I do not have a problem with a "Bernie Sanders" coming.

IMO, we need to hear the opposition - from their perspective.

In addition, I saw that Bernie did NOT get the "reception" that was given to him by Black Lives Matter.

I was concerned that so many of the students applauded when Sanders stated he was for abortion and homosexual rights.

Yes, I understand that Sanders has many views opposite - but could this be the time to plant a seed?

About the only concern would be if they were to award him an honorary doctorate.

After watching this for a bit - I'm wondering how many in attendance were NOT Liberty U students - and possibly Sanders plants?

Too bad - the video did not show the Q&A. That would have been interesting.

Didn't they say that they had allowed some of his fans into the arena and that he had his own cheering section?

Probably none. My son is in college and he can't get into any school functions without his student ID card.

I know when the Universtiy here in town, with a big name speaker - they do allow the general public to attend - though I'm sure that students are given priority to attend.

It was MSM (Public Radio) but that's what I heard on Morning Edition during today's commute. They also presented the audio of an official from Liberty (did not catch the name) asking Sanders if his oft-repeated care for the young extended to the mother's womb. That question brought a huge standing O from the attendees. (And NPR chose not to broadcast Sanders' response, at least not while I was listening.)
