Was/is Stalin right? Are these the things that has held America together and will it collapse without them?

Have these things been undermined? If so by whom?

Stalin was nothing but a mass murderer like Fidel Castro and Raul Castro and Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, etc. They are all criminals. Like James Bond told one of those types in fiction once when he said that he was the greatest mind in the world, Bond told him: correction, the greatest criminal mind in the world.

No doubt, but if this IS a true quote from ole Joe, then he was dead on; and we are seeing his prediction materialize right before our eyes very rapidly!!

So it appears. Can anyone provide a source for this nugget of wisdom?

To be fair, Hitler and Stalin (and you can add Mao and Pol Pot) were in a league of their own. The Castros and Mussolini may have been mass murderers, but they paled in comparison to the former.

So if he were still alive, Hollywood liberals would be visiting him and praising him?

Not really. On a per capita basis, the Castros are more deadly than Stalin. For example, everyone talks about the high murder rate in Chicago and they look at the body count, so to speak, but Indianapolis has a higher per capita murder rate but the number of people murdered does not tally up to Chicago totals.

Be careful you're not playing the "moral equivalency" card. (Speaking as a husband of a Russian emigre) That's not to say our pols aren't guilty of various and sundry actions. But, Stalin and his system of authoritarianism make our pols look like a bunch of toddlers.

Are you suggesting that we ignore the growing authoritarianism in our own system because authoritarianism was much worse in Stalin's system?

Sounds to me like you and some others here are the ones playing the "moral equivalency" card.

Did George Washington and Thomas Paine say "Boy howdy, if you think we have it bad here in the English colonies just look what they're going through in the Spanish colonies"?

No, you read what you wanted to read. So you missed the middle sentence:
So, I'm not letting them off the hook.

Go ahead and give the "communis manifesto" a read.
All of the criteria mentioned in it have been fullfilled.
Understand that Stalin was just a wheel in the maschine, and how the theosophic society/Illuminati and their goals tie in...

No, I read the middle sentence.

You read what you wanted to read in my reply. I never said you were letting them off the hook.

What I was trying to say is it looks and sounds as though you and some others here try to downplay the tyrannies that have and are taking place in this country by comparing the tyrants and usurpers in our government to tyrants and usurpers in other countries.

Why do we have to compare what's happening in this country to what went on in another?

I don't see where one has any bearing on the other.

    It's a non sequitur.

I could understand it if we were to examine the tyrant or tyranny in another country in another time as an object lesson in how to avoid the same here but we very rarely do that preferring instead to compare the two in order to make our current form of tyrannical government seem less tyrannical than it actually is.

Stalin was an evil character but comparing him and his system of tyranny to our government under the Clintons, Bushes or Obama only serves to make the tyrannies and usurpations by the Clintons, Bushes and Obama seem more tolerable by that comparison.

Stalin claimed the authority to execute Russian citizens without due process and did so. Obama claims the authority to execute American citizens without due process and did so.

They both claimed the same authority and acted on it so is Obama's claiming this authority and acting on it more tolerable because he has executed fewer of his own citizens without due process than Stalin?
