This is probably a dumb question but I see some of you belong to it according to your signatures, so, what, may I ask, is this club?

There is a poster here who posts a rabbit picture and tells people to go chase a rabbit when he doesn't like what that poster had to say to him. It's usually good advice but he doesn't want to hear it so this is what he does. It's kind of become a joke to many and they now use it as a badge of honor because it's just so ridiculous. He has also given out kangaroos and other animals as well.

Thanks for the answer, now it makes some sense. It leaves me to wonder if he is actually asking for advice then acting this way or not asking for advice and reacting in the same manner?

From a cursory view, and I take your word for it, it appears the person is perhaps insecure, seeking for total agreement for whatever he does or says, and/or is ungrateful for advice. Forum members tend to dislike and malign what others have to say when they don't agree with them wholly, this behavior appears a bit callow to me. Hebrew 12:14 comes to mind.

I feel rejected, not sure if I have ever been issued a rabbit
I do know I have give "Poster" advice before ( when asked) and as
stated before - it either is not taken or rebuked.

No, he is asking for advice and when he doesn't hear what he wants to hear he tells people to "spend some quality time with a rabbit" or to "go chase a rabbit" and posts pictures of rabbits in his responses.

I see. Then he is not truly asking for advice, but is making a case for himself and seeking for responses that agree with him. We all need Christ to be our all in all, seeking approval of men will never replace a close walk with Him, but we all fail often and we make attempts to replace that walk with other temporal things. We've all done it. I hope he comes up out of that situation and grows.

Sometimes evan tells us we ARE rabbits --not merely to chase them. He engages in pre-school antics.

Only if he does not ride his bicycle on the sidewalks. *laugh*

(Some who have been here for a while might understand.)

You shouldn't ask a question you already know the answer to.

Wow, I was not expecting this to be the answer to the question. I can see why people would wear it as badges of honor in their signatures. Every forum seems to have an inside joke of some sort. It's so ridiculous that it makes for an awesome niche within the forum. :p
