Not interested in a debate on Dispensationalism thanks!

I have a tough question. Does anyone know what will God do with the annoying insects such as fleas, Bed Bugs, flies, roaches, black widows, and other such pests? Will they suddenly be turned useful in the end times? I do not have the answer for this question. I know from Isaiah that Cobras and Lions will be turned useful so I imagine the annoying insects may be turned useful as well.

They already are useful, for the ecosystem. Insects help pollinate flowers, and they are food for birds and other animals.

Thought: How do we know that annoying bugs do not consider us to be pests as well? After all, we poison, smash, and zap them.

I think we have to remember that God subjected creation to futility. It will be different. Perhaps some creatures that are a part of our ecosystem are also part of that subjecting to futility. Just wondering along side you.

I do wonder if we'll have rabbits.

What do you mean explain? You mean to say that creatures that are negative will be gone? Fleas, lice, etc?

Rm 8:19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. [20] For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope [21] that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

I'm not sure, but was wondering if these things were a part of this subjection.

Did you really just try to set up some sort of equivalence between us and bugs?

    Uh....no.

It...was...a...thought. A musing. An idea that suddenly came to mind. *rolling eyes*

Even chiggers? I have a hard time believing that they serve any purpose.

I think the Bible plainly tells us that chiggers are condemned to Hell. They are part of the "everlasting torment.." Remember, no torment in Heaven and chiggers certainly fall in that category.

What's a chigger? Its a demonic blood sucking warm weather bug that torments those of faith when they go hunting or fishing. I've been attacked on several occasions with legions of chiggers. My faith is strong so I started using deet.

This is becoming one of the stranger threads that I have seen in the Theology Section. *laugh*

Impossible. Rabbits can be caught but these insects are too small and fast.
