Republicans Discuss Brokered Convention As Trump Leads

If this catches on, and Trump consequently runs independent, get used to the idea of Mrs. President Clinton, and hope there'll always be a Republican congress to provide some semblance of balance during her tenure.

If Trump doesn't accomplish anything else his run will have brought to light, for all to see, the doings of 'the power brokers' behind the Republican 'establishment'. That alone is going to seriously damage the party.

Why won't these 'power brokers' just let things take their course? If the people want Trump as nominee they should not interfere with it.

I'm going to write McConnell, Paul, and Barr tomorrow and voice my opinion as I have several times in the past. I would suggest to any on board Republicans that don't want to see this split happen do the same.

Told you guys to read the writing on the wall. They don't want Trump as the nominee because there's no way he can win. He's messing with people's money. He's a billionaire so he doesn't care. He will perceive it as them ganging up to keep him from being the nominee and run as an Independent. Game over.

If he goes independent he won't win, nor will the others, against Hillary.

    It's no longer just Trump:
