    At this point, I doubt much will change much. There is a larger social collision coming. Shifting, the final shift perhaps, from a largely Christian country to an entirely post-Christian one is difficult. However, some of these religious leaders (particularly the ones mentioned specifically) think they can avert this shift. They simply cannot.

    This entire 2016 Presidential field is trash. We lack the cultural leadership to move us to a better place, beyond the petty things that entrap us. 2017-2020 won't be much different than the last five or six years...maybe since 2002.

    We used to be a great nation, now we watch our slow, eventual slouching towards historical obscurity.

    You're naive to think that we've been "a largely Christian country." We have been a post-Chrisian one for quite some time now.
    Yes, the Democrat Presidential field is rather sub-standard.
