Sioux Center, Iowa (CNN)Donald Trump boasted Saturday that support for his presidential campaign would not decline even if he shot someone in the middle of a crowded street.

"I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters," Trump said at a campaign rally here.

After the event, Trump declined to answer when asked by CNN to clarify his comments.

Stupid comments like this (Trump's) do not matter to his supporters.

You would if he gets the nomination because your convictions, like many Christians in the GOP, only hold up until the issue becomes winning the Presidential election.

You and a lot of other GOPers will do whatever you think you must to keep Hillary Clinton out of the White House.

That kind of "lack of conviction" got ya 8 years of Obama. [IMG]

This really is sad. Considering what has been going on with police killings the last few years. He is basically saying exactly what folks are saying that some of the police have been saying:

"I can murder someone and I'll still have the support of my fellow officers, the prosecutors and the judges."

He continues to tap into and exploit a certain wickedness that exists in this country. And it's a shame that more and more people, especially Christians, are supporting him.

I can't believe that Jerry Falwell just endorsed Trump. Or actually, maybe I can.

I can believe it too. This is what I've said in the past about our devotion to our politics getting ahead of our devotion to Christ.
