Good topic! We hear a lot about how the GOP needs to get down to a 2-man race to defeat Trump but I find myself wondering if Trump can be beaten by a Reaganite such as Cruz or one of the other two establishment choices left? Americans may think that all that glisters is gold because they are so sick of the shallow Obama. You tell me.

Looks like Trump is on his way to the nomination. I will vote for Cruz in my state's primary, but if Trump wins the nomination, he will be better for us than any Democrat candidate.

If Cruz wants to win the nomination, he needs to take the gloves off, and I don't mean by attacking Trump.

With the help of Rubio and Kasich he is doing ok. Did not get a majority of the votes in any state last night. If Rubio and Kasich cared anything about this country they would get out now and let Cruz go one on one with Trump. But I fear their egos are too big.

I think that Cruz will have to accept Kasich as Vice-President to silence him.

I have seen lots of talk of a Cruz Rubio ticket, but a Cruz Kasich ugh. Kasich was one of the 4 people in thr primary that I said I would never vote for and he is still around. I would not like him in the VA spot at all.

Cruz-Rubio would be too many Cubans. Rubio did himself real damage when the Florida GOP gave him a credit card. He had to refund a lot of money. Also, he was nearly in legal trouble when he sold a house to a GOP operative at a two hundred thousand dollar profit. Rubio needs to straighten up things.

One strange thing about the two Cuban dissidents is that Fidel, Raul, and Che, along with Peronist Pope Francis, are still very popular in the states--far more popular than the Cuban dissidents who suffered under communism, fifteen thousand of them murdered by the Castros.

Kasich has said repeatedly that he would not accept the nomination for Vice President. And it's not the usual politic-speak with a loophole built-in. He flat out said he doesn't want the job. So your theory is wrong.

    All-righty then...

    So, Bush/Cheney--too many whites?
    Clinton/Gore--too many whites?

    Didn't think so.

Well, I can't see any future for Rubio at this time because of his record. Weren't you the one that didn't want to hear anything about Cuban dissidents living or dead in Cuba or out of Cuba?
