    Lest we get lost in semantics,

    An attempted definition of Judaism;
    http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/9028-judaism

    By Judaism I mean subscription to Hebrew Scriptures (commonly known as Old Testament ) in their entirety WITHOUT acknowledging Jesus of Nazareth as the promised Messiah.

    What happens to such a believer should they die in that state? Do they live or perish eternally?

    Please vote and include a brief rationale for your response.

    Eternal life is not to be found in any religion. Eternal life may only be found in a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

    That being said, I believe someone can read the Old Testament and can be given enough light by the Holy Spirit of God to be able to recognize their need of salvation.

    Every sacrifice, every feast, every ceremonial observance pointed to the Redeemer. If a man responds to the little bit of light that he received, I believe God will give him more light and ultimately, he will respond to the light and be saved.

    Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

    When you think about it and are honest enough, 'relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ' is a BELIEF, a religious belief. Unless you redefined the term 'religion'

    Step 1. OT can afford the reader and practitioner thereof 'recognition of their need Of salvation'

    So what, among the Judaists some are saved?

    This is a relatively simple question, no idea why some are avoiding it

    The entire Old Testament points to the need for a Savior. It is the story of history, God's faithfulness and His love for his people. However, salvation is not found in judaism because there is one key part of the story missing in their narrative: Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no other name.

    Very true. So can we say a Judaist minus Christ will perish?

    I voted no because Jesus is eternal life. Those who do not have the Son do not have the Father either. This is what the Apostle John taught in 1 John. Our Lord also told the Jews "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

    There is no salvation outside of Jesus.
