Ps 7:11 (NKJV) God is a just judge,
And God is angry with the wicked every day.

Right know I am very angry. I am very angry with the false teachers, especially pastors in the Unitarian Universalist, and Presbyterian USA churches. I do not refer to them as denominations because they teach another gospel (Gal 1:8). I have spent much time writing letters, mailing out gospel tracts, and sending emails in an attempt to mostly "reason" with the false teachers but in general my efforts have been ignored. I mean a while back I made an attempt to reason with a Seeker Friendly pastor and at least with him I got an argument (I usually do not write letters to other Christians) but with these others I mostly get no argument, and no response.

I know that God has a special place in Hell for the false teachers but I certainly wish they would try and argue with me, then at least I know they are thinking. God has ordained the false teachers as a judgment on the people and perhaps nothing I can do can stop this judgment. Nothing wrong with righteous anger, not that I am perfect, but being angry about a cause like this is justified.

I mean why are other christians not responding in droves to the false teachers and their counterfeit messages? Its the state of the church that angers me....

I suggest concentrating on your walk as you become more and more like Christ. It is difficult to see evil in the world, but we just have to remember that this is not our home. We are called to be at peace with all men if at all possible (Rom 12:18; Heb 12:14).

The world has no true theology to offer, it's all false because there is no understanding. If you keep that in mind, perhaps the compassion of Christ will replace anger.

Your anger comes from self-righteousness, and is also why you look for "false converts". By disqualifying others, according to your holy standard, you elevate yourself. It is flesh and an addiction designed to keep your focus off Him. Until you know you are loved and saved by Him alone, you will continue daily feeding off others.

    Psalms, Chapter 97, Verse 10
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil
: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Psalms, Chapter 119, Verse 104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

    Psalms, Chapter 139, Verse 21
Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee?
And am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

Why do you not hate evil and hate every false way Plain and Simple? Instead you have turned my thread into an attack on me. If you love the Lord then you will HATE evil and HATE every false way and hate the doctrine that comes out of the false teachers. I think that the church is so obsessed with self, and so into PostModernism that they do not see that there is a right and a wrong.

How about you post this email you are sending to all these Presbyterian pastors.
Perhaps some here could give helpful hints to make it more likely to elicit the response you desire.

    Dear pastor;

Does this church teach that Jesus alone is the only way to salvation? Does
this church teach that al other faiths will spend eternity in a place called
    Hell?

    Thanks

    John
    ----
    Dear John,

We teach that Jesus came and died for all people. We do not teach that
other faiths will spend an eternity in hell. We do not believe that it is
up to us to judge. It is just up to us to love.

I hope that answers your questions.

    Blessings,
    Pastor xxxx
    ----
Thank you pastor xxx for getting back with me. So if I understand you correctly you do not believe in verses such as John 14:6, Acts 4:12, and other such passages revealing that Christ is the only way to salvation? Do you believe in partial inspiration of the Bible?

    Thanks,

    John

    Unitarian Universalist Church Letter

    Rev xxx;

After having browsed your website and met some of your members at the Denver Gay Pride parade, I'm wondering what do you stand for? It seems you are not a Christian group. I base my conclusions on your website. Absent is any mention of the essential components of the gospel, which includes man’s separation from God because of his sin, the cross of Christ, resurrection, and such. I have included a gospel tract to help you understand what I mean. You may not believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired, inherent and infallible word of God; but if you do, you will believe that what I am saying to be true. Is there any compelling evidence that the Bible is not the word of God? I can list a few reasons that prove it to be the word of God.

    1) The Bible was written over a period of 1600 years by more than 40 authors on various continents, from various walks of life.

    2) The Bible was written in three different languages, and the authors wrote on hundreds of controversial subjects, yet they all wrote in harmony as the Holy Spirit inspired the men who wrote it. Try getting 10 random people to all agree on one subject.

    3) Science confirms the Bible. For example in Isa 40:22 the Bible states that the earth is a sphere yet science back in those days taught that the earth was flat.

I would like to further dialogue with you and have included a gospel tract that defends the uniqueness of the Bible so I look forward to your response.

    Sincerely,

    John Wolf

This one I did not expect a response nor a dialogue unless the UU minister was repentant.

    Dear xxxx,

Universalism is another gospel (Gal 1:8-9) those that teach it are leading many astray, and are under the control of Satan. Browsing your website not one word of the gospel as in sin, hell, the coming judgment, faith, repentance, Christ, nor the Cross are mentioned. Good works and church membership are highlighted under your teachings and so I must warn you of the fires of Hell that await you. Terror! Those who fall into the hands of an angry God will experience great terror! Hell will be no party as it will be a place of judgment and torment (Luke 16). The false teachers like you will have much darkness and torment according to the book of Jude because you have deceived many and taught another gospel (Gal 1:8-9). You do not believe in sin, the cross of Christ, the coming judgment, or Hell. So how can you call yourself a church when you do not preach the gospel? Such communities like yours are just meeting places for people of like mind, but they are not churches. I fear for you and the eternal punishment you will soon face if you were to die and go to hell. Read what Edward Donnelly says on Hell.

In Hell you will be surrounded by devils and by damned and wicked humans. In Hell all that you value and love will be taken from you. Everyone you love, everything you value will be removed from your experience. No sun will shine, no flower will bloom. There will be no laughter, no excitement, no fulfillment of any kind. These things are from God and to be separated from Him is to be separated from all your gifts. You take them for granted now; you never thank the giver and you have no idea of the extent of your indebtedness to him. But when they are taken away, what poverty! But more than that, in hell your very personality, the real you, will deteriorate forever. (Heaven and Hell, 36).

Julia your only hope is to turn to Jesus and to repent of your sins before it is too late for you.

2 Cor 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

When someone is born again they are in the process of becoming like Christ and their life has changed (2 Cor 5:17). This would in your case mean you would resign from your position as a Universalist minister and no longer teach another gospel message for judgment will be great for those that do this. I plead for your soul and for you to come to Christ. Read all the gospel tracts I provided and turn to Christ. If you have anymore questions please feel free to contact me and I can provide a Bible.

    Sincerely,

    John Wolf

What else did you expect? If they are not willing to say all other faiths other than the christian faith is wrong, they are on sinking sand, theology wise.

Indeed so indeed so but it would have been nice to get a dialogue. I have had dialogues with Catholics and OneNess Pentecostals before and it gets them to at least think and it gets me to do some research and read more..

We all, I hope, believe that we are on the right side of theological disagreements (even though we often find ourselves on opposing sides). Unitarianism does present a false gospel. So does Mormonism. Here, I disagree that Presbyterian doctrine excludes a true gospel, but I believe there is error in the mix.

Judging John as self righteous is going too far. He holds to his belief and convictions but what he is arguing here is that those others hold a false gospel. While I may disagree with some of John's methods, at least he is doing something.

Too often people join in threads John start only to denounce him. I often disagree with him, but if there is nothing constructive to say, nothing building him up, nothing edifying.....how is the response itself not an exercise in self rightous pride?

That judgment may have been a little harsh. Perhaps his "anger" is simply "righteous indignation." :)

The verses you quote are all taking about hatred not anger. Do you believe it is possible to hate a false doctrine without being angry? :)

Yes. I think he may be preaching to the choir. :)

Yes, I think we can all agree on that point.

I think that would depend on what brand of Presbyterianism is in view. Some (PCUSA types) are pretty modernist while BPC and OPC Presbyterians tend to be very good with the obvious exception of baptism, and I even used to know a man who pastored a OPC church who baptized new converts by immersion and dedicated but did not sprinkle infants. He referred to himself as a very rare "deep water presbyterian." :D

Remember that believers are sheep. Keep your passion and zeal and tempered with Scripture. I won't condemn you for any of this. :)
