Who watched the Town Hall last night on CNN? Any thoughts as to who you thought did the best and why? Here's my take.

Cruz. Probably his best performance. Came off very likable. Had good answers about reaching out to women and responding the father who lost his son to opiates.

Trump. Spent the first 15 minutes defending his Campaign Manager, who was just indicted. Not a good way to start. Was very surprised that he believes NATO is obsolete and that he is OK with Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia obtaining nuclear weapons.

Kasich. Probaby his best answer was about Medicaid expansion. Had a lot of details to his plans - perhaps too many. Surprisingly though, came off as too preachy to me. Wonder how that will play out.

The latest poll has Cruz up by 10 over Trump. Not sure if last night's debate will change this.

I did wonder, and maybe I missed it, how Kasich felt about Cruz saying if there were a contested convention, the only names on the ballot would be his and Trump's?

Cruz's idea about recruiting legal immigrants to do agricultural work sounded kinda weird to me? It sounded as though he felt that immigrants only want to do one type of work and would be readily available for recruitment if citizens didn't want to do the work. Why would legal immigrants want to do this work if citizens don't want to do it?

Farmed most of my life and I don't blame anyone for not wanting to do this type of work! You spend 8 hours or more out in the hot sun for very little pay and your body breaks down early in life! I enjoyed farming myself but it is a hard life and I don't recommend it to anyone trying to raise a family unless you own your own farm! As for for the convention I don't see why anyone else's name would be on the ballot because American voters did not support Kasich or anyone else other than Trump and Cruz!
