Simply asked ... are you as a believer willing to take a stand along side of the governor of North Carolina when it comes to this requirement to change restrooms to male/female mix?

I would not want my wife using a restroom that permits a person from the opposite sex to utilize the same restroom as her! I would not like to use the public restroom only to find a member from the opposite sex taking full advantage of the new and improved interchangeable facility!

What are your thoughts about this disgusting issue? And better yet, what are you doing about it??

I know that eventually the mores and norms of our culture/society are bound to change, but this is just too much change, and it is morally wrong! It is one more warning sign of darker things to come!

I live in a town that until a few years ago had a huge trans population seeking medical attention.

You learn a few things. Not all are born xx or xy. For those born just x, or xxy or xyy or xxyy, I am all for treatment. But those folks tend to handle the issue medically, and yep go to their chosen bathroom, and you never will be aware anyway.

The noisy ones pushing for gender free restrooms tend to be solidly xx or xy but want to pretend to be the opposite. They may have the surgery and take the pills or shots, but were born and will die genetically xx or xy. They also seem to be the ones I don't want to share a bathroom with. Seem to be all about making sure you know they are trans.

I like the idea of women, men, and "family" restroom with the last a one holer. That way ANYONE who might be uncomfortable has a safe place to go.

Those born with an xx/xy gene matrix have my deepest sympathy and will be treated with sympathy, compassion and understanding. Their lives are already difficult enough without bigoted fools making things worse.

As to those who are physically xx or xy, use the restroom that matches their physicality. If they refuse, let them go home and use their own facilities. Their "rights" do not trump my rights or my wife's rights or my children's rights or my grand children's rights.

Rob, the trouble is, that the President has bypassed the Constitution and Congress many times.
If you claim that you will support and defend the Constitution that means you will be defying the President.

Rippon - it is assumed that those would be lawful orders......

On a smaller scale - on the road test in our area - there are two one way streets - each with a stop sign. Often the examiner will state "make you next left" If you turn left at that "next" physical street you will be going the wrong way on a one way street. He never told you to do anything illegal - it is up to you to realize that you are to obey legal directions.....

I, TCassidy, having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of O-1 do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God."
