Here's the latest poll from BallotPedia. Trump vs. Clinton in battleground states. The margin of error in each of these polls is either 3.9% or 4.0%. In every battleground state Trump is losing to Clinton and only Iowa is within the margin of error (just barely.)

The election is still months away, plenty of time for the poll numbers to shift in Trump's favor, if trump plays it right. But, if Trump loses, it will be in large part to those #NeverTrump traitors to America. After Hillary appoints an Activist to the Supreme Court, and after every unconstitutional and vile Supreme Court ruling, I'll remind the #NeverTrump followers of their evil works.

And I'll be telling everyone of the Trumpeteers that voted for him in the primary that they are at fault. After two terrible candidates in McCain and Romney, with Ted Cruz and with Rubio there were a couple of conservatives that could have beaten Hillary. Poll after poll showed that. But the dumb Trumpeteers didn't want a conservative, they wanted a flip-flopping populist that would tickle their ears.

Trump has said he can win with or without the GOP. So why blame #NeverTrump?

Cruz would not have beat Hillary. Rubio might have. Except for Republican traitors, Trump has at least as much chance as Rubio of beating Hillary. Trump was running for the Republican nomination, now he's changing modes to run for the president. So, his poll numbers are very likely to improve, even if he backs away from his wall building and Muslim barring.

#NeverTrump followers don't want a flip-flopping populist, they want a leftist who has it within her desire and power to rip apart the Constitution. Shame on them. Shame. I count them as enemies of America.

Are you a fan of the alternate history novels by Harry Turtledove and others? Because what you are stating here is alternate history. Rubio routinely polled higher than Clinton, and starting in November beat her in every single poll.

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...s/general_election_rubio_vs_clinton-3767.html

Starting in January, when the primary season started Cruz beat her every time until he dropped out in May.

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...eral_election_cruz_vs_clinton-4034.html#polls

On the other hand, Trump almost always lost to Clinton. At one point in April I believe it was 33 out of 35 polls up to that point in time showed Trump losing to Clinton.

#NeverTrump wanted a conservative GOP candidate. Not many of them are going to vote for Hillary. You've really got to stop the self-deception that anyone who opposes Trump must be for Hillary. It's not true.

Cruz polled somewhat well against Hillary because he was mostly unknown to the general public. That would have changed after the nomination. To many people being polled, the question might as well have been "Hillary whom you don't like or a Republican you know nothing about?"

Trump has done poorly against Clinton because until now he has pandered Republicans. Also, don't forget those anti-American traitor Republicans who won't vote for Trump. But, if Trump really can't win, regardless of the #NeverTrump movement, that makes the #NerveTrump movement against Trump even more asinine.

Even if Cruz or Rubio would have been better choices, that opportunity is gone. Trump has won and now the choice is: Hillary or Trump.

Actually, some #NeverTrump followers will vote for Hillary. Speaking of self-deception, how dumb is it to think that refusing to vote for Trump won't help Hillary win? Speaking of self-deception, how evil it is to encourage Conservatives to stay home and help Liberals win state and local offices and issues, and how evil is it to do nothing as Hillary marches toward the White House prepared to tear up the Constitution by appointing the Fifth Activist to the Supreme Court. Shame on #NeverTrump followers. Shame. I count them as enemies of America.

I'm not voting for Hillary. According to you, that's helping Trump win, right? So I'm doing my part.

Name someone who is #NeverTrump that is advocating not voting in state and local elections. Just one will do.

"#NeverTrump" is two easy English words that I know you understand. You're working to take away votes from Trump, not from Hillary

Presidential elections have a relatively high turnout. Non-presidential elections have a relatively low turnout. People are more inclined to vote when they're voting for a president. Therefor, you're encouraging conservatives to not to vote in state and local elections when you encourage them not to vote for Trump.

The whole #NeverTrump movement is asinine, and that's being kind. They're enemies of America.

I am not one for directly calling someone an Idiot, but after a statement like this, I may make an exception in your case.

You were wrong to post what you did. It is one thing to disagree with people of a different political thought but another to essentially name them traitors.

You know you've hit rock-bottom when the extent of your post is mocking someone for leaving of an 'e' from a word.

Maybe when Trump is elected he can round up all these people and put them in prison.

That won't do any good, the judges will just let them out of prison. But, when Hillary is president, she can round up all the Christians with the Supreme Court backing her up. "Christian violate Separation of Church and State. They're the state, which is unconstitutional."

    Back to the OP ...

Trump is going to lose, and probably badly. He has shown his ineptness the past month and it seems that, short of some cataclysm, that will continue. Even a cataclysm may not help him. He didn't pick up any steam from Orlando, so short of a 9/11 event he's dead in the water. And even such an event may not help him because he's shown himself fumbling even events that might help his prospects.

Even if all the #NeverTrump Republicans were to vote for him, he still would lose. Simple demographics. He's alienated the Hispanics and the African Americans (which Hillary has proved she can deliver) and he can't even count on white voters to save him.

To call those who oppose Trump as "traitors" is ludicrous. It's pure Trump — disagree with me and you're not a "real American." You would think Trump is God's anointed, beyond the reach of criticism. Even Israel's anointed kings didn't escape the wrath of the prophets.

BTW: Trump is oblivious to charges that he's destroying the Republican Party. As a matter of fact, he's only enlarging upon the themes that the Republican Party has endorsed for decades. That he's made those positions inimical to many Republicans doesn't mean that he's out of step with those positions: He's only made them crystal clear. You sow what you reap, I think I read somewhere.

Well, you're going to wear yourself out trying to reason with these people - you just can't and they are going to really push till until the convention. Very transparent that this "poll" is supposed to plant a seed for John Kasich and Paul Ryan, why else poll those two?

IF??? Trump becomes the nominee??? This smacks of more wishful thinking, the dream of a "brokered convention". Simply ridiculous, as in the idea that Trump is losing by 10 points in North Carolina.

What these #neverTrump people won't post is any poll showing Trump ahead, or statistically tied, and there are plenty of them. And then, when they dig up some push poll like this, they complain when you say it's a push poll. It's a lot to deal with.

"Ballotpedia/Evolving Strategies", what exactly IS that?:

Evolving Strategies is a clinical data science firm. We use experiments and artificial intelligence to modify (not just predict) human behavior — we get more people to do what you need them to do.

    http://www.evolving-strategies.com/

Ummm, that doesn't sound reassuring and I do disagree with you that these #neverTrump people are "traitors" yet, but I do know some of their candidates are liars. Maybe they should be left alone to believe in their push polls after the convention then leave them alone with their crying towel.

If there are "plenty of them", show us two of them. Trump tweeted a poll result today, one that showed him 2 points behind Clinton. I would think if there were plenty of polls showing him leading he'd tweet one of those instead of one showing him trailing.

Funny you should mention that. Trump is a liar of the highest order. He constantly says he didn't mean what he said if he thinks it will get him a vote. Most Mexican immigrants are rapists or murderers, or at least thugs. No, I didn't really mean that. I'll build a wall and make the Mexicans pay for it. He knows that won't happen (at least reasonable people don't), so again he lies. He used to back gun control; now he's lock-step with the NRA (in fact, the NRA had to rein him in when he suggested that the folks in the Orlando club should have weapons.) He will anything that comes to his obscurantist mind.
