A rabbit, blind since birth, was hopping through the woods when he tripped over something. He heard a voice say, "Hey you! Watch where you are going!"

The rabbit said, "Sorry, but I am blind. I couldn't see you. Why didn't you just get out of the way?

The voice said, "Well, I'm blind too!"

The rabbit said, "What are you?

The voice said, "I don't know. I have never seen my reflection. What are you?

The rabbit said, "I don't know either. I have never seen my reflection."

The voice said, "I have an idea. I will touch you and feel you all over and tell you what you look like, then you can do the same for me."

    The rabbit said, "Okay."

Soon the rabbit felt a long slithering body wrap itself around him then again, and again from his feet up to his ears. Then slowly the long slithering body unwound and was back on the ground.

The rabbit asked "Well? What do I look like?

The voice said, "You have a little round cottony tail, really big back feet, little front feet, and really, really long ears."

The rabbit said, "I know! I know! I'm a rabbit!"

Then the rabbit felt all over the body the voice was coming from and stepped back.

The voice said, "Well, what do I look like?"

The rabbit said, "You are very slick. You are more than just a little slimy, you have a really big mouth, and you are covered with diamonds."

The voice thought for a minute, slick, slimy, big mouth, covered with diamonds, then said, "Oh no! I'm a TV Evangelist!"

I'm a little surprised there is video. Anyway, not into televangelists, but I would throw out a few evangelists I would suggest. Donald Grey Barnhouse, for one. Harry Ironside for another. And if you can find old Charles Stanley, he was (and still is in my opinion) quite the Hellfire and Brimstone preacher. Very convicting messages.

Not sure if you can get it, but BBN has Conference Pulpit on every night (9 PM in my area) except Sunday. I prefer to listen to messages than watch them, though there are some preachers that use drawings and charts, which is pretty cool.

If you do listen to them, let me know what you think.

    God bless.

I cannot stand TV Preachers as a breed. Too many innocent, naive people preyed upon to not consider them predators of a type.

Thanks! Cannot get BNN but will see what I can do with youtube.

I think the Rice videos were maybe home movies as sometimes it sounds like you can hear the projector. Pretty blurry at times but the sound is clear, and since I'm cross stitching that doesn't matter.

Would love to find the Rice Reference Bible yard saling or at a thrift store!

Shouldn't someone at least pretend to preach Christianity to be considered a televangelist? Olsteen is deistic self-esteem teletherapist

If she would have sent him $1,000 he would have seen to it that God healed her the very moment she touched the TV screen. She would feel the tingling in her fingers...after rubbing her bare feet on the carpet prior to touching the TV...
