Recently I've been using the Lexham English Bible.

For Sunday Bible class we use the NIV.

I can't believe I forgot the NIV! I knew I was missing something.

The poll is meaningless as you only allow me to mark one English version.

It's okay that you left off the NIV. Since 2011, it has been irrelevant. The real question is why did you include NRSV, NLT, and the HCSB. Okay, maybe the HCSB because it's the albatross of the SBC.

Why did you leave off the ASV and LEB?

Imagine that! The best selling Bible translation was missed. It's only sold half a billion copies.

Strange how you make these kind of pronouncements. Because you make these insane declarations doesn't mean they're true.

I made the exact same mistake when I made a similar poll a year or so ago.

I guess the Newly Inspired Version will have to be a write-in.

I don't think as clearly as I used to do, and my memory is bad for medical reasons. Cut me some slack, please. :)

I was hoping that you could pick the top, even if by a slim margin. Alternatively, vote "Other," and you can tell us your preferences.

I use the ESV most of the time. However, I do use ASV, NKJV, NLT, NIV and/or HCSB on my Olive Tree for comparison.
*I am currently holding out on paying for the NASB on Olive Tree :)

I think a certain poster just likes to be difficult. :)

Anyone can only have one favorite.

I use the NIV & NASB, but love the NIV more. Used to be a KJVO guy...stauchly KJVO...but it keeps getting knocked down my list. I also LOVE the YLT.
