The media just can't shut up about Donald Trump. In no small part, this is because his behavior appears to be inexplicable.

Where the most gaffe-prone big-league politician might go off the rails once every week or so, Trump does it several times every week, and sometimes several times every day. And where the most gaffe-prone big-league politicians quickly take back their verbal flubs, clarify, and apologize, hoping to move on before inflicting maximal political damage on themselves, Trump invariably doubles down, needlessly dragging out the controversies for endless days.

This seemingly self-destructive behavior has spawned, in turn, a cottage industry of armchair psychologizing of the man, who's been repeatedly diagnosed as suffering from narcissistic personality disorder or maybe just "insanity."

Something is going on with Donald Trump. But we don't need a precise clinical diagnosis. It's possible to examine Trump's behavior over the past few weeks and reach a tentative understanding of his bizarrely self-subversive and flagrantly unpresidential statements and actions, including his tendency to flirt with inciting political violence.

Trump wants to lose the election. And he wants to be able to blame someone else for the loss.

If they did, they would have more time to explore the behavior of Hillary.

Why doesn't Donald do that himself? What did he have to say about the recently released State Department e-mails revealing efforts by the Clinton Foundation to obtain a meeting for a political supporter? Did he say anything about that? I don't think so.

Are you saying he won't play the game of hypocrisy as well as you think he should?

No, I'm saying instead of having a legitimate campaign against Hillary Clinton he shoots off his mouth saying dumb things that swamp out any coverage of Hillary's problems.

It's as if he's working with the Clinton campaign.

If there is one, whatever it is, it will likely be Trump's own doing. In other words, he'll say something stupid to harm himself even further.

Speaking of October surprises, I can't think of any except the story about George W. Bush getting a DWI back in the 1970's. He would have been in his 30's, I guess. What are some of the other ones? We always predict there will be one, but usually there isn't.

IN true Trump fashion - let me clarify - since you did not understand.
What rabbit will Trump pull out of his hat in Oct to pull ahead of Clinton?

Crab, you are amazing. You will defend a Democratic nominee that is guilty of treason, murder, bribery, perjury, theft, abuse of power, and ring Trump over the coals for a few press conferences. Does he bother you that much? Funny, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush and Bush bothered you. That tells me your are much more interested in the Democratic Party than the United States of America.

So what happens if the Donald drops out and Hillary is indicted and has to drop out? Does it then automatically become Sanders vs Cruz? Hey don't laugh, I think there will be an October surprise and at least one of these scenario's is very possible if not both.

In a sane world, people would be saying the same about Hillary. She is, without a doubt, the most corrupt person to ever run for president.

She's done everything she can to lose, but losers still support her candidacy.
