I noticed that also. However, the point was made that this is the first time in modern history where one candidate lags in every category. I do not believe the poll would be the same if the GOP had nominated a different candidate.

Maybe the GOP should stop nominating businessmen. They seem to have a way of turning voters off. Was it Romney's wanting to kill Big Bird or his 47% comment that cost him the election?

I remember saying that his kill Big Bird was going to cost him greatly. Every kid who watched Sesame Street was going to tell their parents to save the "person" they loved. :)

What hurt Romney was that the 47% comment was true. That's correct 47% of Americians pay no income tax - and that is a major problem in our country.

Any parent who voted against Romney because of their kid and Big Bird - has no business voting.

That might have been the tipping point for many. The 47% was a turnoff for many. Also many adults, whether parents or not, like PBS and programs such as:

    1. Masterpiece Theater
    2. Nova
    3. Nature
    4. Antiques Roadshow
    5. American Experience
    6. Motor Week
    7. American Masters
    8. History Detectives
Just to name a few. Those programs are certainly, IMHO, much better than the mindless programs and the soft pornography that is aired on commercial TV.

Because of the separation of church and state that would violate the Constitution. So, no the Christian station should not receive government funds. But that does not mean you cannot sent them donations. If a Christian station could receive government subsidies then Muslim or Buddhist would also be able to receive public money.

PBS does not violate the Constitution. And there have been some really good religious documentaries on public TV.

Oh, and you did not answer my question, why should gun manufacturers be subsided by the government?
