I guess my pet peeve is posters not being thankful about other posters taking the time to express their opinion to the OP. People are not required to enter into a discussion, or express their opinion and we should be thankful they choose to honor us with opinion and comments.

I am against spam --especially VanSpam.
He's a broken record. He just repeats the some old nonsense without end to his non-existent "folks."

People who type every word in bold and ask questions in the spirit of "when did you stop beating your wife?"

Pharisees were people too, made in God's own image as a matter of fact. Face it, when your argument is weak it's time to play the ad hominin card.

People who, by default, equate objection to Donald Trump as President with being a Liberal.

To the uninitiated (from the play, not the silly movie): A man comes up to Cyrano seeking a sword fight, and insults his huge nose: "Your nose, sir, is rather large." That's more original than some insults I've seen here on the BB. Cyrano then answers with a list of insults the man might have said. One of my own favorites: "When it bleeds, what a Red Sea!"

I wanted to rate your post a winner or like or agree but it seemed insufficient given this post is needful and absolutely correct. Such actions are arrogant and insufficient. period.

    John, Tell you what!
I will start with Psalm - chapter 117

So there! That proves my point--if only I could remember what my point was.

Pet peeve on the BB: Plagiarism. This occurs all the time here. If you quote someone without sourcing, certainly without giving the source's name, you are plagiarizing, and that is not only unethical, it is against the law. To be blunt: If you quote someone without sourcing, you are stealing!

Here in our college, and I would think every Christian college, you can be kicked out if the plagiarism is bad enough.

Pelagian plagiarizers are especially peeve worthy. Sorry, I've never met a theological pun I didn't like.

What is a peeve, and why would anyone desire to pet it?
