The entire thesis of the memo easily debunked within 24 hours of release.

The case has been halted, it appears the FBI lied on the 302's and I bet you the case gets dismissed. The agent that did the investigation was just fired.

Let me ask you this. If I had all of your phone records and text messages and I had you in a room with no attorney. I start asking you all sorts of question and will not allow you to take notes, then I find one case where you misstate something. I then throw the book at you, you spend all of your money (remember this guy is military vet, a good man according to Obama) and he is bled dry trying to pay out of pocket for his defense and is about to lose his house. He could not fight any longer. He has to take a deal....he was forced to. Once more you try to act as if this is something to praised and help up as justice? I sir am not blinded by this political non-sense....if I see some BS on the side of the right I will attack them with vigor. I think Jeff Sessions is a hack and fraud, I think many others on the right are also. I won't play that game, I served my country not politics.

 

Nunes said the deal was only one committee member could read the basis, so he picked Gowdy, because of Trey's background and experience. The Gowdy went to some super-secret room and spent a lot of time there, then gave them a report.

I wonder if any Democrats have seen the basis for the memo, Gowdy implies otherwise. But it was a calculated decision and not because Nunes was too lazy to read all this.

Just a hunch, but I think Gowdy likes the judicial branch more than the legislative branch or the executive branch, but he "likes" the DoJ much more than the FBI. Comey's old job would have been his for the asking. But I also wonder if this memo drama was the last straw for some reason but could you blame him?

 

Trey Gowdy in a room by himself telling another dude what to put in a memo, when said agencies have repeatedly declared glaring omissions and inaccuracies in the memo. I mean, you are just fine with that?

 

What inaccuracies are you talking about? Of course there is omission, they had to reduce the thing to four pages and all of that wouldn't fit.

Where do you see the errors? The only one I have found so far is that the Democrats claim the FISA judge was told it was "political in nature", whatever that means, but not that it was straight from the DNC and Hillary. Four times.

 

We’ll never know because only the GOP is controlling the narrative and got to draft their memo of their own accord. The fact that you have both agencies saying there is a problem with this is telling. But we’ll never know as long asinly one side is being allowed to control the situation.

Not really, both of these agencies - the FBI and the DoJ do not come off well in the memo. I think the other will will be released, after they redact it to oblivion again.

The only thing about this whole mess (so far) is that they secured the warrant knowing the dossier was salacious and false, but if the Democrats are telling the truth about the political business, the judge could have been in on it. I do not see this as a left/right issue, the old idea that the hippy left hates the CIA/FBI and the right thinks they should be respected is long over - Waco, Ruby Ridge, the Bundy fiasco are all botched operations and now this.
