Why did Trump recall the troops he sent to the border right after the mid-term elections?

    I was just wondering what happened to all the hoopla about these disenfranchised victims seeking asylum. Seems very suspicious (almost like they were pawns who lost their value).

    Then why did Trump send troops? I would assume he thought they were a real danger. I don't if we treat them lawfully.

    I don't know why he sent troops home. I think we will treat them lawfully, but that said Mexico offered them asylum. This is not a "pick and choose" type of thing. If Mexico allows them to stay then I am not sure they have much of a stand in terms of escaping oppression (they've already escaped). Asylum is simply not a right (but to apply for asylum is a different matter).

    Surely, because he needed that many to feed him one grape at a time as he lies flat on his back thinking of how he will take he money from welfare and build a torture chamber for the children of illegal aliens.

    Well, many here claim the caravan was a political stunt. I think it was needy people looking for a safe place. The timing of the Trump use of troops was obviously a play to his base before the elections.

    I don't think it was a political stunt. Like anything else, it was a political pawn. The Republicans use the idea of a swarm of people trying to illegally enter as an opportunity to advance their agenda. The Democrats use these people and their welfare as a pawn to advance their agenda. With the midterms over, the Republicans will continue to fight for stronger boarders and the Democrats against them. BUT the Democrats have no use of those people anymore (the party couldn't care less about the people). So the discussion died.

    The Democrats are fighting for treating immigrants seeking asylum lawfully and not separating children from their parents.

    They have been. It is they who have broken the laws.

    And why do you advocate putting innocent children in prison even though they have not been accused of a crime and have not committed any crimes?

    It seems the racist Democrats are still lynching dark skinned people? Shades of the KKK.

    Why have the troops been recalled from the border? They haven't been.

    Their temporary encampment is two blocks from my house and they are still there.

    Too bad the Democrats have such an inability to tell the truth.

    Trump is the one who has put innocent children in prison and has increased the size of the prison by a factor of 3. If these immigrants request asylum at an appropriate point they are acting within the law.
