    It would appear, as described by some, to be a denial of salvaton by grace through faith.

    I am not concerned about what "some" have to say about that. Salvation by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) fits perfectly well in Monergistic theology since both are gifted by God through no merit on the part of the one being saved. Hence, the "doctrines of grace" moniker. But this is really a subject for the C&A forum.
