    In the bottom left hand side of my window - I HAD a "start" icon. Somehow, I deleted it

    How do I get it back

    Possibly you hid the task bar? If task bar is not showing pull mouse down to the bottom and see if it appears. If that is the case then when task bar is open right click for options.

    The task bar is still there ( I have about 8 icons there)
    One of them is the "Windows" icon
    it was another "Start" button that got deleted.

    What is "vista"
    did look at the video - did not find what I am looking for

    But I do appreciate the assistance RevM and Ex

    I was kidding, it is an much older version of windows, there are a lot of links not just one video look through them all till you find what you need

    so does that mean you are going to screen fix it for me

    if you do, I don;t need to go to Disney world which means I don't have to find a place to stay - you know that lodging is expensive down there.

    Only guessing but try a hard shutdown (unplug) and simply restart the computer.
