I'm not defined by a political p[arty. I'm defined by my faith. What are you defined by?

I wouldn’t (put on Trump sticker on my Jeep) just for the sake of providing a target while foolishly thinking such a sacrifice is a worthy endeavor. That was my point in restating the suggested logic above (“grip on reality”) to its conclusion. My last sentence was supposed to be dry humor sarcasm which coming from me I’m sure can be easy to miss even if I a put a “ ;) “ at the end. "I'll have to get back to you on that one" - you know like, I don't think so buddy, I think I've made my case, so not buying that today. :)

LOL, trolling by wearing a hat isn't my thing, but I don't care if I see someone running around with one and I never cared when I saw someone wearing one of those ugly Obama t shirts that looked like a can of Pepsi. It depends on where you live - I would never put a sticker on my car that was in support of Trump, it would get keyed in Seattle or Portland.

If the values are in agreement then they are both Christian and Republican. And if they are not, ...then you have a problem. Claiming otherwise is like trying to claim moral relativism only when it suits you.

I don’t support either party so I’d never do it. Anyway, I consider it a bit tacky to even put a bumper sticker on the car, but that’s me.

Christian values are not aligned with any political organization or country.

Ok, when you were in NJ, did you put those lawn signs up in your front property for the teachers union? You know something like, “Vote YES to increase property taxes on Tuesday.... It’s for the children!”

The number of abortions has been steadily decreasing to the point where it's now less than it was before Roe vs. Wade. This is due primarily to giving the middle class and poor more access to contraceptives and to sex education. The GOP wants to take these away. That will INCREASE the number of abortions whether legal or illegal.

No but I always thought teachers were underpaid. Both my mother and aunt taught the deaf in public schools for over 30 years. However, do think they should have annual performance reviews just like other professionals. Mom and my aunt would have done very well under that kind of system. They both participated in an annual TV program in KY called "Crusade for Children." They demonstrated the techniques they used to teach speech and lip-reading.

How can this be when organizations like Planned Parenthood have goals to go into schools at Kindergarten level and begin educating the kids on their genitals in a way that contradicts what the parents have told them and they do this intentionally. Then they work to provide "their" education along the way with the goal of girls having abortions at least 3 times between the age of 13-16.

Conservatives wants to leave these issue to the parents where they belong. The government needs to quit butting in.

You have no evidence of that it is a loose claim made by liberals.

Yes in NJ teachers (because of the Union) are paid well with pensions and benefits. They seem to be the only ones that can afford to live here anymore.

California, Maryland, and New Hampshire refusing to report is what has reduced the CDC published number. Good try though. The Republicans do not try to prevent anyone from obtaining contraception. They simply have enough sense to not want fourth graders being given condoms at school.
Abortion, like any other murder, should be illegal and prosecuted as murder. See how many illegal ones you have if the woman and the person performing the murder start getting charged for murder 1.

Yes. The MAGA Hat, I bought online for about $20.00. I have a classier-looking "TRUMP" hat which I bought from a flea market vendor fo 30 bucks.

In a way, "grip on reality" was some of my dry humor. I believe that Benjamin is a well adjusted, responsible adult. Forgive me Benjamin for any offense you may have taken.
I have a serious concern for our nation's path, as I feel certain that most Baptist Board members have. Currently, MAGA Hats, signs, and bumper stickers are low-key means of expressing support for our embattled president. As low-key as these things are, they evoke acts of vandalism and and, in some cases, open violence, by many opponents, toward the supporters. This a new and dangerous phenomenon.
I guess that I am blessed to be living in Alabama, where Trump support was highest in the nation. I understand that there is much open hostility, in the Pacific Northwest (California included), toward Trump supporters; however we have some minor problems.
I feel that despite the potential threats, we need to go full bore in our opposition to globalism and unchecked liberalism. Our expressed opposition must be within the constraints of Biblical guidelines. Defending and protecting ourselves and others are two things which I believe will pass Biblical muster, although revenge and retribution won't.
If you have ideas on how to go full bore in the conservative Christian direction while remaining snug and secure in your own environment, throw those ideas out there for the general consumption.

If the values are the same they are aligned, ...you seem to have a problem with simple logical truths.

So it’s your hat, bought and paid for and you have every right to wear it.

But I am curious, where are those hats made?

Do none of you guys remember what it was like when you were 16-18? You claim that using prophylactics don't reduce pregnancies and therefore abortions? That's ridiculous.

You are reducing funding and that reduces availability to get contraceptives.

You seem to have a problem understanding simple logic.
