My feedback is that you did an excellent job. (I listened to “The Savior is Calling” because it popped up but plan on starting from the beginning of the series).

In regards to your delivery you were very well spoken and clear. You organized your sermon so that it was easy to follow and communicated your message to the audience (both at your church and online).

As far as the context, I also believe you did a good job. I probably will not agree with your future use of “world” (I may, but it is a suspicion I will not). But that does not matter. I expect teachers and preachers to be faithful to the Word as they understand it - not as I understand it. We all expect the congregation to do the work of evaluating our understanding.

You expounded on the passage very well and stuck with the Word rather than going off on tangents (I am a get to the point kind of guy and like your style).

I learned that John is the only one who uses “the Lamb of God”. I don’t think I’ve considered that before. And yes, of course, that imagery is very present in John’s writings to include Revelation.
