Featured Fear or Peace?

Is Jesus God? If so he has always ruled the world and continues to do so. You need to rethink your interpretation of the eternal kingdom. It has no Millennium.

 

Jesus is both the man and as the Christ also God, John 14:6, 2 John 1:9, Ephesians 5:5, Isaiah 6:5, John 12:41.

 

So when did he stop ruling his creation?

 

Never. Psalms 24:1. Hebrews 1:2-3.

But as the man the LORD's Christ, Revelation 11:15, "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our LORD, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever."

 

Total takeover. It happens in the New Heavens and earth.

 

Which happens after the 1000 years, Revelation 20:4-15, Revelation 21:1 . . . .

 

The 1000 years is a symbol of Satan's binding.

“And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” Revelation 20:2–3 (KJV 1900)

It is not the kingdom. Satan attacks the kingdom when loosed.

“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.” Revelation 20:7–8 (KJV 1900)

“And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.” Revelation 20:9 (KJV 1900)
