This shot and my view:

I do not know that you are getting the truth either way. Like I said, there is just too much competition for our minds.

 

They do not do "double blind vaccine/ autism studies" because there have been no link established between vaccines and autism. Why perform it on the COVID vaccine when they don't for other vaccines.

Until a link is established there is no need for a study.

 

Please provide a link of Congress ordering a double blind vaccine/ autism study on the COVID vaccine.

Like you said, Congress is corrupt. So I would not be amazed if they followed whatever their supporters want.

BUT historically thise studies were not conducted (even though some wanted it for the flu and measles vaccines) because there has nor been a link established between vaccines and autism.

It would be like me demanding a double blind vaccine study to make sure the vaccine will not turn people into flesh eating zombies.

I'm not going to read through a lawsuit....it was silly for all those eople to demand double blind vaccine autism studies for the measles and flu vaccines to begin with.

We should not waste money on research without a purpose except dismissing irrational fears.

Vaccines do not cause autism.
Some people have had concerns that ASD might be linked to the vaccines children receive, but studies have shown that there is no link between receiving vaccines and developing ASD. In 2011, an Institute of Medicine (IOM) report on eight vaccines given to children and adults found that with rare exceptions, these vaccines are very safe.

A 2013 study added to the research showing that vaccines do not cause ASD. The study looked at the number of antigens (substances in vaccines that cause the body’s immune system to produce disease-fighting antibodies) from vaccines during the first two years of life. The results showed that the total amount of antigen from vaccines received was the same between children with ASD and those that did not have ASD.

COVID-19 vaccines are not being given to children at the age of concern (a very important note). The COVID-19 vaccine is only approved for age 12 and up so far.


The "we need an autism study" is just a scare tactic to people already afraid of vaccines.

 

I do like numbers. It is "bad science" to simply link the rise in autism to the rise in an arbitrarily chosen trend.

Asthma has risen even faster than autism. Is it vaccines (no, scientists often attribute the rise in asthma to environmental issues).

The number of cars has risen even more than the increase of vaccines. Maybe cars cause autism?

 

Yes. My son had a couple of friends who had severe issues from car exhaust.

One thing you are missing is that vaccines are expected to produce a reaction. That is what they do.

 

Who has denied those reactions? The CDC offers these common side effects:

• Pain
• Redness
• Swelling
• Tiredness
• Headache
• Muscle pain
• Chills
• Fever
• Nausea

With this advise:

Side effects after your second shot may be more intense than the ones you experienced after your first shot. These side effects are normal signs that your body is building protection and should go away within a few days.

In most cases, discomfort from pain or fever is a normal sign that your body is building protection. Contact your doctor or healthcare provider:

• If the redness or tenderness where you got the shot gets worse after 24 hours
• If your side effects are worrying you or do not seem to be going away after a few days

And this reminder:Side effects can affect your ability to do daily activities, but they should go away in a few days.

They also warn of possible severe allergic reaction.


If people are unaware of side effects then they are listening to neither side of the argument.
