let me try again. this is what you wrote in #104

But we ARE humans and we DO live within time. So while God is not bound by time, we most definitely are, and there are some in this current time that will be saved/adopted in the future but have not as of yet and if they were to die today they would go to hell because they have not yet been saved

Can you show where you say that you mean this HYPOTHETICALLY???

What this means, as I have said, that it is possible for "saved/adopted in the future", who "have not yet been saved", "
they would go to hell because they have not yet been saved"

    this is written as matter-of-fact.

Conversion is the moment we place faith in Christ, Regeneration is the Spirit enabling us to do so. I believe these two things happen at the same time.

Why are you uncertain? Does it have to do with being a superlapserian or a infralapserian ( note I spelled both Calvinist terms incorrectly) :Unsure

I don't see what these verses have to do with the conversation.

It has to do with what the Bible says is required for salvation.

Could there be one-offs like John the Baptist? Sure, but John also placed faith. But I believe the vast majority of the time they are simultaneous. But that is just my personal belief, I am not dogmatic about that and it isn't really relevant to the conversation.

WHY would you use this example, IF you never believe in it???

    IF can also mean

"used to say that a particular thing can or will happen only after something else happens or becomes true:"

    in #119 you wrote

I am not one that preaches infants automatically go to Heaven

John 3:18, 36, and many other passages in the Bible state, that those who BELIEVE will be saved; and those who DISBELIEVE, will be lost. Can a 1 week old infant do either?

Ok, in your post you said chapter 1, not 3.

And not believing is the natural state at birth.

It did not happen that way for me, I walked around converted w/o regeneration for a great while. Should I have died without that born again experience, do you believe I would have gone to hell?

And I told you what I mean by if so you can rule that possibility out.

I do not know. I am not going to say there is no way a week old baby can respond to the Gospel in a way that God accepts. I will not say that. After all, it's not about the sinner's prayer is it?

Mark 1:15, are the Words of God Incarnate, REPENT and BELIEVE, which are IMPOSSIBLE for a week old infant to do!

This is a perfect example of works salvation.
"One has to BELIEVE to enter heaven."
Notice the lack of grace in this statement, making man the savior of himself.
By the above statement, all infants who die are hellbound. By the above statement, all mentally disabled persons who cannot understand are hellbound. In the above statement we understand why we never establish our theology on one verse in Acts 16 as the unbending requirement to be saved.

What we know is that belief is an effect of God's gracious salvation, it is not the cause that moves God to save.

Sbw's view is proof that he knows very little about grace and thus falls on works for his means of salvation
